課題

His hands were hardened from his work. He fixed peoples kitchens for a living.
But surprisingly, his handshake was soft and inviting. His muscular arms and hazel-green eyes
caught her attention the minute she opened the door.
"Sorry I'm late. Sounds like this could take a while." His warm smile revealed hidden dimples.
"Thanks for coming on such short notice." She smiled at him. After inviting him inside, they
moved to the kitchen. He stepped around the puddle of water on the kitchen floor, and got to work.

仕事がら、男の手はごつごつしていた。男の仕事は台所の修理工だ。
だが意外にも、握手をしたときの手は柔らかで、人を惹きつけるものがあった。ドアを開けたとたん目にとまったのは、そのたくましい腕と、緑がかったハシバミ色の瞳だ。
「遅くなってすみません。直すのに少し時間がかかりそうなのですが」彼が暖かく微笑むと、隠れていたえくぼが現れた。「急なお願いでしたのに、来てくださってありがとう」彼女は相手に微笑みかけた。男を部屋に入れると、二人は台所に向かった。男は台所の床にできた水たまりをよけて、仕事にとりかかった。
