課題

His hands were hardened from his work. He fixed peoples kitchens for a living.
But surprisingly, his handshake was soft and inviting. His muscular arms and hazel-green eyes
caught her attention the minute she opened the door.
"Sorry I'm late. Sounds like this could take a while." His warm smile revealed hidden dimples.
"Thanks for coming on such short notice." She smiled at him. After inviting him inside, they
moved to the kitchen. He stepped around the puddle of water on the kitchen floor, and got to work.

その手は仕事柄ごつごつしていた。彼はキッチンの修理工で生計を立てているのだ。
だが意外にも握手はやわらかく感じがよかった。ドアを開けた途端に、たくましい腕とヘイゼル・グリーンの瞳が彼女の心をとらえていた。
「遅くなってすみません。なかなか手こずりそうなお話でしたね」温かい微笑みが、隠れていたえくぼをのぞかせる。「こんな急なお願いなのに来て頂けてありがたいわ」彼女は笑いかけると、彼に家に入ってもらってキッチンに向かった。彼は床に出来た水たまりをよけて入ると、仕事にとりかかった。
