Dear Diary,

I met the most incredible guy at our company picnic yesterday. My friend Sarah introduced us while we were waiting in the chili line. Once we started talking, it was like a fire was started that we couldn’t put out. Almost as hot as the chili! His name is Josh, and he is one of the best-looking nerds I have ever seen. Besides being a computer geek, he loves dogs, bikes and travel. He is going to France next month, and he told me about all the amazing places he will visit. I can’t stop thinking about him, and how much I enjoyed our conversation. Should I text him before he goes to France?

昨日、会社のピクニックであり得ないほど素敵な人に出会ったの。チリを食べるためにみんなで列に並んでいたら、友だちのサラがその人を紹介してくれたの。話し始めたら、まるで火が付いたように止まらなかったわ。刺激的でチリのよう。彼はジョッシュといって、今まで出会ったオタクの中で最高にかっこいいの。それに、コンピューターマニアっていうだけじゃなくて、犬好きだし、自転車や旅行も大好き。来月はフランスに行って、すごい場所を巡るってことなんだけど、それを全部私に話してくれたの。ずっと彼のことばかり考えてしまう。なんて楽しいおしゃべりだったのかしら。彼がフランスに行く前に、メッセージを送っておこうかな。
