Dear Diary,

I met the most incredible guy at our company picnic yesterday. My friend Sarah introduced us while we were waiting in the chili line. Once we started talking, it was like a fire was started that we couldn’t put out. Almost as hot as the chili! His name is Josh, and he is one of the best-looking nerds I have ever seen. Besides being a computer geek, he loves dogs, bikes and travel. He is going to France next month, and he told me about all the amazing places he will visit. I can’t stop thinking about him, and how much I enjoyed our conversation. Should I text him before he goes to France?

昨日ね、会社のピクニックですっごく素敵な人に会ったのよ。チリコンカーンを買う列に並んで待ってるときに友達のサラが私たちを紹介してくれたわ。私たちは一度話し始めると、まるで簡単には消せない火が燃え上がったようだったの。まさにチリコンカーンくらいの熱さね！彼はジョシュっていう名前で、私が今まで会ったオタクの中で最もイケメンだと思う。パソコンオタクであるってことに加えて、彼は犬好きだし、自転車や旅行も好きだそうよ。彼は来月、フランスにいく予定で、私に行く予定の素晴らしい場所について全部教えてくれたわ。もう彼のこと、そして私がどれだけ彼との会話を楽しんだかを考えずにはいられないわ。彼がフランスに行く前に、メッセージを送ってみるべきかしら…？
