第3回 アニメ翻訳コンテスト
ASM さんの訳文
課題
Narrator : Sally is a fifteen-year-old ordinary high school girl. Previously, Sally met a strange old woman and was given a piece of chocolate. She ate the chocolate and the next morning, she woke up to find herself in somebody else’s body.
Sally: What happened? Why are my pajamas like an old man’s? Where’s my hair? And what happened to my voice?
Wife: Hi, honey. It’s time to get up and get ready for work. Will you wake the kids up?
Sally: Who are you and what are you talking about? I am not a father of any children.
Wife: Are you still dreaming – time to wake up! Come on, get going. I have an important meeting with my clients and need to get going now. Remember to pick Josh up at 5 o’clock. See you tonight.
Sally: Wait, I can’t take care of these kids. I don’t even know who this family is.
Josh: Morning, dad. I’m hungry. Can I have some Choco Puff Pops for breakfast?
訳文
ナレーター：サリーは15歳、普通の女子高生です。前回、サリーは奇妙な老婆に出会い、チョコレートをひとかけもらいました。そのチョコレートを食べたサリーが翌朝目覚めると、あれれ？誰か他の人の体に入ってしまったようです。
サリー：一体、何が起きたの？なんで私のパジャマがおじさん用みたいになってるの？私の髪はどこ？それに私の声、どうしちゃったの？
妻：あなた、おはよう。もう起きて仕事の支度をする時間よ。子どもたちを起こしてくれる？
サリー：あなた誰？何を言ってるの？私は父親じゃないし、子どもなんかいないってば。
妻：あら、まだ夢を見てるの？さあ、起きて！ほら、さっさとしてよ。これからクライアントと大事なミーティングがあって、もう出かけなきゃいけないんだから。5時にジョシュを迎えに行くの、忘れないでね。それじゃ、行ってくるわ。また夜にね。
サリー：ちょっと待って、この子たちの世話なんて無理よ。この家族が何者なのかもわからないのに。
ジョシュ：おはよう、パパ。ねえ今日の朝ごはん、チョコパフポップのシリアルにしてもいい？

4. she woke up to find herself in somebody else’s body.の訳が自分では出てこないフレーズでいいなと思いました!(^^)!
Why are my pajamas like an old man’s? Where’s my hair? And what happened to my voice?の個所で「私の～、私の～、私の～」という風に原文に忠実にmyを訳されていますが、日本語では特別強調したい場合を除いてはあえて言わないのでここでも省略してよいのかなと思いました。
その他、全体的に自然な訳でした!(^^)! (評価：4)
