古来より、富士山は日本にとって文化的に意義深い場所でした。
ほほ完璧な左右対称の円錐形をしたこの荘厳な山は、聖地巡礼の対象であり、神聖なシンボルと見なされています。
偉大な画家や詩人の多くが、美しい山並みや周囲の風景に触発されてきました。
日本一の高さを誇る山の頂から日の出を眺めようと、登山に訪れる日本人もたくさんいます。
最近、世界文化遺産にも登録された富士山は、日本の象徴的存在なのです。
