古代より、富士山は日本にとって文化的意義のある場所であり続けてきました。
この雄大な山は、ほぼ完璧な左右対称の円錐形をしており、信心深い巡礼者の目的地であるとともに、国家の聖なるシンボルとされてきました。
この美しい山とそれを囲む風景はこれまでにたくさんの偉大な画家や歌人に刺激を与えてきました。
