Dear Diary,
I met the most incredible guy at our company picnic yesterday. My friend Sarah introduced us while we were waiting in the chili line. Once we started talking, it was like a fire was started that we couldn’t put out. Almost as hot as the chili! His name is Josh, and he is one of the best-looking nerds I have ever seen. Besides being a computer geek, he loves dogs, bikes and travel. He is going to France next month, and he told me about all the amazing places he will visit. I can’t stop thinking about him, and how much I enjoyed our conversation. Should I text him before he goes to France?

昨日会社のピクニックで信じられないくらい素敵な男性に会ったの。チリを待っている間に友だちのサラが私たちを紹介してくれたんだけど、話し始めた途端、まるで火がついたみたいだった。自分たちでは消せないくらいの火。チリくらい熱いの！彼の名前はジョシュ。わたしが今まで出会った中で一番のイケメンおたく。コンピューターマニアなだけじゃなくて、犬、自転車、旅行も大好きなんだって。来月フランスに行く彼は、訪れる予定の素敵な場所の話をいろいろ聞かせてくれた。彼のことばかり考えてしまう。彼とのおしゃべりが楽しくて仕方なかったことも。彼がフランスに行ってしまう前にメールするべきかな？
