Girl: Tomorrow is your birthday, isn’t it?
Robot: Yes, if you think a robot has a birthday. I’ve been programmed to serve your every need. My initial start date is of little importance to me.
Girl: But you are a member of our family. Even if you are a robot. We think of you as one of us. We want to celebrate your life like we would any of our other family members.
Robot: That is such a kind human sentiment to share with me. You know I am programmed to work without emotion. If you choose to give me a birthday party, that is up to you.

女の子：明日お誕生日だよね？
ロボット：はい、ロボットにも誕生日があるのでしたら。私はご主人様のどんなご要望にもお応えするようプログラムされています。最初の開始日は私にとってそれほど重要ではありません。
女の子：でも家族の一員だもん。ロボットだって。みんな仲間だと思ってるよ。家族みんなと同じようにお祝いしてあげたいの。
ロボット：それは人間の優しさという気持ちですね。ご存知の通り、私は感情を持たずに動くようプログラムされています。私のために誕生日パーティーをするかは、ご主人様にお任せします。
