A taxi driver was going quickly down a busy street in the city. He passed four stop signs without stopping. He went the wrong way down a one-way street. He passed a police officer while searching on his cell phone for the address of the store he was headed to. And he texted from his cell phone to multiple people before finally arriving at his destination. During his whole trip, however, he didn’t break any laws. How?

タクシードライバーが交通量の多い街中の通りを急いでいました。彼は「止まれ」の標識を4つ無視しました。一方通行の道を逆に進みました。警官を追い越した時には携帯で目的の店を検索している最中でした。その上、なんとか目的地に辿り着くまでには何人かに携帯でメールもしていました。ところが、この一連の行動の間、彼は何の法にも触れていないのです。さて何故でしょう？
