A taxi driver was going quickly down a busy street in the city. He passed four stop signs without stopping. He went the wrong way down a one-way street. He passed a police officer while searching on his cell phone for the address of the store he was headed to. And he texted from his cell phone to multiple people before finally arriving at his destination. During his whole trip, however, he didn’t break any laws. How?

あるタクシー運転手が、街の混雑した通りを急いでいます。一時停止標識を４回、止まらずに通りすぎました。一方通行の道を反対方向に進みました。警察官の前を通り過ぎたときには、携帯電話で目的地の店の場所を調べていました。そして携帯電話で複数の人にメッセージを送り、ついに目的地に到着しました。しかしこの道中、彼は１つも法律に違反していません。なぜでしょう？
