第15回 ジョーク翻訳コンテスト

課題

At the end of the semester, a college professor was giving a test to his students. Once he handed out all the tests, he went back to his desk to wait. When the test was finished, the students returned their test papers to the professor. Strangely, the professor noticed that one of the students had attached a $100 bill to his test. There was also a note saying, "A dollar per point." In the next class, the professor returned the graded tests.
The student got his test back with $64 change.

学期末、ある大学教授が学生らにテストをしていた。教授はテストを全部配り終えると、机に戻り待機していた。テストが終わると、学生らは答案用紙を教授に出した。ところが、妙なことに教授は気づいた。ある学生の答案用紙に100ドル札が貼りつけてあったのである。その上、「1点につき1ドルということで」とのメモまで添えられている。次の授業で、教授は採点済みの答案用紙を返却した。
例の学生は64ドルのお釣りと答案用紙を受け取った。
