第15回 ジョーク翻訳コンテスト

課題

At the end of the semester, a college professor was giving a test to his students. Once he handed out all the tests, he went back to his desk to wait. When the test was finished, the students returned their test papers to the professor. Strangely, the professor noticed that one of the students had attached a $100 bill to his test. There was also a note saying, "A dollar per point." In the next class, the professor returned the graded tests.
The student got his test back with $64 change.

学期の終わりのことです。ある大学教授が学生たちにテストをしました。学生全員にテストを配り終えた教授は自分の机へ戻り、テストが終わるまでそこで待ちました。テストが終わると、学生たちは答案用紙を教授に返しました。だがおかしなことに、ある学生の答案に100ドル札が添えられていたのです。そして「1点につき1ドル」と書かれたメモもついていました。次の授業のとき、教授は採点を終えたテストをその学生へ返しました。
