第15回 ジョーク翻訳コンテスト

課題

At the end of the semester, a college professor was giving a test to his students. Once he handed out all the tests, he went back to his desk to wait. When the test was finished, the students returned their test papers to the professor. Strangely, the professor noticed that one of the students had attached a $100 bill to his test. There was also a note saying, "A dollar per point." In the next class, the professor returned the graded tests.
The student got his test back with $64 change.

学期末を迎え、大学の教授が学生の試験を行っていた。教授は試験問題を全て配り終えると、自分の机に戻って待機した。試験が終了して学生たちが答案用紙を教授に提出したところ、教授は奇妙なことに気がついた。学生の1人が答案用紙に100ドル札を忍ばせていたのだ。そして一緒に付いていたメモ用紙には「1点1ドルで買います」との文字が。次の講義の時間、教授は採点した答案用紙を返却した。
その学生が受け取ったのは、答案用紙とそのお釣り64ドルだった。
