第15回 ジョーク翻訳コンテスト

課題

At the end of the semester, a college professor was giving a test to his students. Once he handed out all the tests, he went back to his desk to wait. When the test was finished, the students returned their test papers to the professor. Strangely, the professor noticed that one of the students had attached a $100 bill to his test. There was also a note saying, "A dollar per point." In the next class, the professor returned the graded tests.
The student got his test back with $64 change.

学期末、ある大学教授が学生たちにテストを行った。答案用紙をすべて配り終わると、教授は教卓に戻りテストが終わるのを待った。テストが終わると、学生たちは答案用紙を教授に提出した。教授は、奇妙なことにある生徒が100ドル札を添えた答案を提出していることに気が付いた。答案用紙には「１点につき１ドル」というメモも添えられていた。次の授業で、教授は採点済みの答案用紙を学生たちに返却した。
例の学生の答案用紙には、６４ドルのお釣りが添えられていた。
