課題
Castle Greystone was finally in sight.
After three days of rain, mud, and bad roads, it looked almost beautiful.
“Tell me we're staying there tonight,” said Leo.
“We're not,” Serena replied.
“Tomorrow, then?”
“Nope.”
Leo groaned.
“Why does every quest take us farther away from a proper bed?”
“Because adventurers never choose the easy road.”
“Then adventurers are idiots.”
Serena laughed.
“And yet you're still here.”
Leo opened his mouth to reply.
Then both of them fell silent.
The gates of Castle Greystone were slowly opening.

ついにグレイストーン城が見えてきた。
３日間も雨と泥にまみれ、ぬかるみに苦しめられたので、城はやけに美しく見えた。
「今夜はあそこに泊まるんだろ？」レオがいった。
「泊まらない」セレナがこたえた。
「じゃ、明日か？」
「だから泊まらないって」
レオはうなった。
「まともなベッドで寝られるクエストはひとつもないのかよ！」
「楽な道を選ばない、それが冒険者だからよ」
「じゃあ、冒険者なんてバカじゃん」
セレナが吹き出した。
「そのバカやってるのは、誰かしらね？」.
言い返そうとレオが口を開く。
次の瞬間、二人は黙り込んだ。
グレイストーン城の門が、重々しく開き始めたのだ。
